Depuis l'enfance, Mathieu a développer un gout pour le dessin. C'est a l'age de 13 ans qu'il améliorera ses techniques en reproduisant les pochettes d'album du groupe heavy metal Iron Maiden. Un jour il mis tout simplement de coter les reproductions, et commenca a griffoner de lui-meme.
